Cells4life Case Study
Some 5 years ago Dr. Jeff Drew wanted to make arrangements to have the cells from the umbilical cord of an expected addition to the Drew establishment stored as a useful source of stem cells. Being a research scientist, he had more precise expectations about the services offered than most parents. OPG Case Study
A return to base (RTB) pharmaceutical shipper with an extended operational life – the first of its kind ever produced with this kind of longevity – has been designed by Laminar Medica to solve a logistics problem for Netherland’s largest pharmaceutical wholesaler, OPG of Utrecht. The sensitivity and value of products that OPG distribute which require temperature controlled packaging is such that the company realised it had either to develop shippers to handle the 2-8°C products or distribute them, along with the other non-temperature sensitive products, via a fleet of refrigerated vehicles.
